Loving Deeply Without Losing Yourself
Breaking Free from Over-Functioning and Finding the Freedom of Healthy Love
Many Christian women have spent years believing that loving others means carrying everyone else's burdens, fixing their problems, and putting themselves last. But over time, that kind of love often leads to exhaustion, resentment, and losing sight of who God created them to be.
In this encouraging and practical message, Lisa invites women to discover the difference between helping and rescuing, serving and striving, and self-sacrifice and self-abandonment. Through biblical truth, personal stories, and practical tools, women will learn how healthy boundaries actually strengthen relationships and create space for greater joy, peace, and deeper connection.
Audience Will Learn:
Why so many Christian women become over-functioners
The difference between healthy love and unhealthy responsibility
How Jesus modeled boundaries without compromising compassion
Practical steps to begin loving others without losing themselves
-
Finding Yourself Again
Rediscovering Your Identity Beyond Pleasing Everyone Else
Somewhere along the way, many women stop asking, "Who did God create me to be?" and start asking, "What does everyone else need from me?"
Whether it's the desire to keep the peace, fear disappointing others, or the pressure to always be needed, these patterns quietly shape our identity and relationships. In this powerful message, Lisa helps women recognize these unhealthy patterns and invites them to rediscover the freedom that comes from living securely in God's love instead of striving for approval.
Filled with compassion, Scripture, and practical wisdom, this talk encourages women to reclaim their voice, embrace their God-given identity, and build relationships rooted in authenticity rather than obligation.
Audience Will Learn:
Why approval becomes so powerful
How people-pleasing affects relationships
What it looks like to develop a secure identity in Christ
Practical ways to begin living from freedom instead of fear

About Lisa
Lisa Archinal is a Christian speaker, certified emotional health coach, and co-founder of Our Relentless Pursuit, a ministry dedicated to helping men, women, and couples experience freedom, wholeness, and emotionally healthy relationships.
After spending years believing that being a good Christian woman meant saying yes, carrying everyone else's burdens, and putting herself last, Lisa discovered that many of the patterns she called "love" were actually leaving her exhausted, disconnected, and quietly resentful. Today, she helps women break free from over-functioning, people-pleasing, and unhealthy relationship patterns so they can love others well without losing themselves.
Drawing from Scripture, trauma-informed coaching, and her own personal journey, Lisa combines biblical truth with practical tools women can immediately apply to their everyday lives. Whether she's speaking about boundaries, emotional health, identity, or healing, audiences appreciate her warmth, authenticity, humor, and ability to make complex topics feel approachable and deeply hopeful.
Lisa is the host of the Emotional Health for Christian Women podcast, founder of the Flourish coaching community, and author of 90 Days of Hope and Healing Devotional and the Evening Reflection Journal. She lives in Texas with her family and is passionate about helping women create healthier relationships, deeper peace, and lives rooted in God's love. Outside of ministry, Lisa's favorite place to be is with her husband and kids, though her Goldendoodle, Barney, would argue that he's her favorite child.
